NexGEnt Entertainment Production defines a prop as any item that is large or heavy enough to cause harm to other attendees or property or any item that resembles a weapon.
Props that exceed 1.5 meters in length and/or are worn as part of a cosplay or costume (e.g., wings, body armor) extending beyond a 50 cm radius around the body will not be allowed into the event space.
Collapsible props will be measured at their full length. They may be allowed into the venue on the condition that they are not assembled indoors. This will be determined based on the individual characteristics of the prop, and NexGEnt Entertainment Production reserves the right to approve or deny entry of any collapsible prop.
All swords or props within a sheath will be checked with the sheath on and off but measured with the sheath on. If a sword or prop is deemed to violate the NexGEnt Props Policy outside of the sheath, it will not be permitted, regardless of sheath safety (e.g., a metal sword inside a protective sheath).
Firearm replicas must comply with Philippine laws, specifically R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act). They must be non-firing, made of plastic, incapable of being mistaken for a real firearm, and have an orange cap at the muzzle. Any firearm props not meeting these criteria will be refused entry and may be referred to security and local authorities. This policy applies to all attendees, regardless of whether they possess a permit. Devices capable of launching projectiles, including bows and archery items, are also covered under this policy.
Entering the Event Space & Prop Tagging
Upon entering the event space, all props will be checked by NexGEnt Entertainment Production staff. If necessary, attendees may be directed to the Props Check desk.
Props that meet the NexGEnt Props Policy will be tagged as acceptable and permitted inside the event space. Props that do not comply will not be allowed entry.
All props will be re-evaluated if later found to be dangerous or inappropriate. Attendees must comply with the instructions of NexGEnt staff regarding props.
NexGEnt Entertainment Production will not be responsible for any lost or damaged props. There may be a designated storage area for props that meet event policies. However, props deemed dangerous or violating NexGEnt or venue policies must be stored outside the venue.
