Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces transformed into a vibrant hub of anime and cosplay culture this past weekend as Cosplay Street 2024 welcomed thousands of fans for two days of free entertainment. The event, organized by NexGEnt Production, ran from August 3 to 4, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and featured a lively mix of games, stage activities, and guest appearances.

Hosted by All Yellow Joshua and Heart Can Dort, the event brought energy to the stage with witty banter and interactive games. Cosplay icons Toffee Chu and Natsukashi were among the most anticipated guests, drawing long lines of fans eager to snap photos and catch their performances.

Attendees said the atmosphere was both exciting and welcoming. “I came all the way from Bulacan just to see Natsukashi perform live,” shared 19-year-old attendee Marielle Santos. “It was worth the trip—everyone here is so passionate, and the community feels like a big family.”

Interactive activities such as GT Anime Intro, Puzzle Blvd., and Smart Flash kept crowds engaged throughout the day, while the fan-favorite Auction segment drew spirited bidding for rare merchandise and collectibles. Families also attended in groups, with parents joining in the fun alongside their kids.

The event was made possible through the support of Ayala Malls Zing, Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces, Dory’s Restaurant, Patisiree, and Arterion Philippines, whose booths offered food, merchandise, and perks for attendees.

Cosplay Street 2024 underscored the growing appetite for anime and cosplay events in Metro Manila, highlighting the community’s creativity and sense of camaraderie.
